Robert Girard, Sr. Vice President of Marine-Finance.Com,
is a recently retired business professional from Citicorp with strong functional management, credit, sales and organizational skills. His strong performance record and tested crisis management skills were developed at Citibank overseas and domestically. A major component of each position held over the past decade involved problem solving and change management.

As the Senior Credit Manager responsible for the Transportation Finance and Industrial Finance Businesses of CitiCapital, Mr. Girard was responsible for the performance and quality of a portfolio in excess of Seven ($7) billion. He has extensive experience with both private and public companies with 30+ years of hands on management experience with entrepreneurs. Throughout his career he was actively involved in deal structure and final credit approval. Earlier, Mr. Girard was Treasurer of Cosco Industries, a diversified manufacturing company involved in four product lines. He was responsible for balance sheet and working capital management, analysis of capital expenditures, mergers and acquisitions, financial planning and dealing with banks and major creditors. Mr. Girard has been involved in both the bank and corporate side of business and understands how it all works. This, coupled with significant experience in Commercial Marine Financing, gives him a unique perspective and understanding of this high potential and underserved market.
